Do they really look like each other?

So many people tell us that the look like one another... and frankly I just don't see it. But regardless, they sure are cute!

My Bostyn Girl Turns 2!

My Sweet Baby girl turned two on the July 10th but Jesse couldn't be around at all that day, so we decided to celebrate on saturday! I can't believe she is two already! She is such a darling girl with gobs of personality and attitude. She has more facial expressions than any child I know! She loves animals,carries worms around in her pocket, loves to get her toe-nails painted, speaks in pretty full sentences, is obsessed with her shoes, favorite food is definitely hot dogs, she can swing for hours, catches grasshoppers with Ethan, sleeps 12 hours and takes a 2.5 hour nap-- but refuses to go to bed early and sings/jabbers to herself in the crib for an hour or so if we try-- then she sleeps till ten the next morning, goes to nursery by herself, calls grampa on the phone (also by herself), spends an hour in the pea patch eating peas, and picks all my flowers, only to present them to me with a big kiss. My Bostyn girl is precious and I am so thankful that she is mine!

I'm Proud to be an American!

I love this country! Even with all the current flaws and problems it is still a place where I can get together with those I love most and celebrate freedom, religon and my family! What an blessing! One that I do not take for granted!
